Tanzania Exports Grow 17.8% to USD 19.7

Tanzania’s exports of goods and services grew 17.8% to USD 19,679.4 million in the year ending May 2026, with goods exports up 20.4% to USD 11,627.9 million on a 46.7% surge in gold to USD 5,532.3 million and a 38.3% rise in manufactured goods to USD 2,009.3 million. Traditional exports added 12.8% to USD 1,639.7 million, led by tobacco, coffee, and cotton, while service receipts climbed 14.2% to USD 8,051.5 million, led by travel earnings of USD 4,419.1 million.
