Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Lead at Jaza Energy Tanzania

Job Purpose

Oversee end-to-end supply chain, local procurement, logistics, and inventory management to support Jaza Energy’s rapid expansion of solar-powered battery hubs across Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning: Develop demand forecasts, supply chain strategies, and weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Procurement: Lead local purchasing, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure 100% compliance with company purchasing policies.
• Logistics & Customs: Manage inbound/outbound freight, optimize transport costs, oversee warehousing, and handle import/customs clearance.
• Data & Process: Monitor inventory accuracy, track OTIF delivery, optimize CAPEX per site, and automate workflows.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, vendor management, and Tanzanian import/procurement regulations.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and IT/data analysis skills.
• High ethical standards and strict adherence to anti-bribery policies.
