Position Details
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (KTE)
Location: Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical projects, particularly in piping with a focus on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
In-depth knowledge of LPG industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Strong proficiency in piping design software and AutoCAD.
Registered as a professional engineer with the Engineer’s Registration Board (ERB).
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Certification in relevant safety standards and procedures.
Strong oral and written communication skills to simplify information for stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Extremely detail-oriented.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
