Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
- Surveillance Operations: Man the CCTV control room, conduct continuous visual monitoring, track mine fleet, manage alarms, handle radio/telephone communications, and oversee access control.
- Incident Escalation & Reporting: Receive, record, and escalate safety, security, and emergency events. Warn field response teams of active threats during incidents.
- Operational Monitoring: Monitor shipment and haulage activities, operate the weighbridge, handle after-hours intercom calls, and log operational registers accurately.
- System Maintenance & Support: Maintain control room equipment readiness, report system faults, coach new trainees, and step in for the Shift Supervisor when needed.
