Equity turnover on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange surged +124.77% to TZS 52.37 billion during Week 35 of 2026, with 24,452,958 shares changing hands across 23,207 deals over four trading sessions. Among movers, MBP advanced +17.39%, PAL gained +11.11%, and NMG rose +7.84%, while NMB fell -87.97%, MCB declined -8.14%, and DCB lost -7.92%. Total market capitalisation stood at TZS 38,743.54 billion by week’s end, with the DSEI rising +4.58% and the Banks, Finance & Investment index gaining +9.95%. Bond market turnover reached TZS 35.22 billion, a week-on-week change of -15.98%.
