Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Operations: Safely operate, start up, synchronize, load, unload, and shut down turbines and auxiliary equipment according to set procedures.
• Monitoring & Inspection: Track key parameters (pressure, temperature, vibration, speed, load) and perform regular physical inspections of turbines, generators, lubrication, cooling systems, and condensers.
• Safety & Maintenance: Respond quickly to alarms, trips, and emergencies to minimize downtime; assist with equipment isolation, lockout/tag-out (LOTO), and commissioning. Tanzaniatravel guide
• Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the control room, boiler operators, and maintenance teams for troubleshooting and performance testing.
• Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order in the turbine and auxiliary areas.
• General: Execute any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on working experience in turbine operations.
• Skills: Strong technical and troubleshooting skills; ability to monitor equipment and react fast to operational shifts.
• Attributes: High attention to detail and a strict commitment to workplace safety.
