We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boiler DCS Operator to join our production team in Bagamoyo. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous boiler operations utilizing state-of-the-art Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• System Operation: Monitor and operate industrial boiler systems using the DCS to maintain optimal steam pressure, temperature, water levels, and combustion parameters. VodacomTanzania services
• Process Monitoring: Track real-time process trends, responding immediately and effectively to alarms, system warnings, and abnormal operating conditions.
• Sequence Management: Perform safe boiler start-ups, shutdowns, and systematic load changes strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Resource Efficiency: Closely monitor fuel, feed water, air, and steam systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimize wastage.
• Data Logging: Accurately maintain shift logs, recording equipment status, operating data, and shift production reports.
• Maintenance Support: Identify and report operational abnormalities to supervisors for corrective actions and assist maintenance teams during planned shutdowns or equipment repairs.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven working experience in the industrial or power plant sector.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of boiler operations, steam generation, combustion mechanics, and auxiliary plant equipment.
• System Skills: Prior hands-on experience operating industrial boilers or power plant equipment using a Distributed Control System (DCS) is highly preferred.
